About the Role

Position Overview ZScreen is looking for a hungry and relentless cold caller intern to help us reach early-stage SaaS founders, engineering teams, and staffing agencies who are struggling with slow, inconsistent hiring. You'll be the voice on the phone and the first real connection our prospects have with ZScreen. Your job: make calls, qualify inbound leads, book demos, and help us hit our go-to-market milestones. This is a high-activity, high-learning role—you'll touch every part of our sales funnel and see real ROI from your effort. What You'll Do Cold call targeted companies — Work from our ICP list: 1–200 person SaaS startups, SMBs, and staffing agencies in the India, US and Europe. Qualify and disqualify fast — Ask sharp questions to surface hiring pain (slow screening, inconsistent interviews, low signal from CVs) and determine if ZScreen is a fit. Book qualified demos — Hand off ready prospects to our founder for product demos; your job is to validate fit and get them excited. Follow up relentlessly — Track calls, send follow-up emails, and nurture inbound leads through our Slack/email sequences. Learn the product deeply — Own ZScreen's value prop inside and out so you can speak confidently about AI-generated screening workflows, scoring, and asynchronous interviews. Report and iterate — Daily call logs, weekly performance reviews, and transparent feedback so we optimize outreach together. About You You own a phone and laptop. (Non-negotiable.) You're not afraid of rejection. Cold calling means 90% no's—but you see it as a numbers game and a skill to sharpen. You're hungry. You want to build something real, learn sales fast, and see a direct connection between your effort and company growth. You have fluent English — Clear voice, can chat naturally, and ask clarifying questions without a script. You're organized. You track your own calls, follow up promptly, and hit daily/weekly targets without hand-holding. Bonus: You've used a SaaS product or worked at a startup before, or you genuinely care about how hiring works. Compensation & Details Monthly stipend: ₹15,000 INR Duration: 1–3 months (with potential to convert to full-time sales if you hit targets) Location: Bangalore (hybrid role, remote-first, with bi-weekly in-person meetings) Hours: 4-5 Hours per day Targets: 50–80 dials per day, 5–10 qualified meetings per week by week 4 Perks: Direct feedback from founder, real equity conversations if you excel, and a portfolio piece for your next role, internship certificate and an optional letter of recommendation (if you hit targets) Why Join ZScreen Day 1 impact — Your calls directly drive MRR and help us hit $10k MRR by month 3.
