GCP Data Engineer
About the Role
GCP Cloud Technologies(GCP/BQ, Dataflow, Cloud composer, GCS understanding), PL/SQL and strong experience with Python. Good to Have - Kafka Must-Have Skills Strong hands-on experience with GCP Cloud Technologies including BigQuery (BQ), Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and Google Cloud Storage (GCS). Candidate should have practical exposure in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based data engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform. Expertise in building ETL/ELT pipelines, data ingestion frameworks, workflow orchestration, and cloud-based data processing is highly preferred. Candidate must possess strong programming skills in Python with experience in developing reusable scripts, automation solutions, APIs, and data transformation logic. Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts, error handling, debugging, logging mechanisms, and performance optimization techniques is expected. Strong experience in PL/SQL is mandatory, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, cursors, joins, subqueries, and query optimization techniques. Candidate should have solid knowledge of relational database concepts, data modeling, and performance tuning. Experience working on Data Engineering and Analytics projects involving large-scale datasets, cloud migration, and enterprise data platforms will be an added advantage. Candidate should also possess good understanding of Agile development methodologies, version control systems, and production support activities. Good-to-Have Skills Exposure to Kafka or any real-time streaming platform for event-driven data processing and streaming data pipelines will be preferred. Skills: pl/sql,python,composer,gcp
