Junior Tax Accountant

About the Role

As a Junior Tax Accountant at Zodiac HR Consultants, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and review of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will work closely with the accounting team to reconcile financial data and identify areas for improvement. Your day-to-day tasks will involve analyzing financial data, preparing tax-related documents, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and review of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to the accounting team.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, including tax-related documents and financial reports.
• Reconcile financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, and ensure compliance in all financial transactions.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as required.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including income tax and GST.
• Experience with data entry and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and meet deadlines.
