AI/ML and Python Development Intern

About the Role

This internship role involves working on AI/ML and Python development projects, focusing on building RESTful APIs, working with relational and NoSQL databases, and leveraging deep learning models.

As an AI/ML and Python Development Intern, you will be responsible for designing and implementing product features, collaborating with the team on architecture and database schema decisions, and working on multiple projects across various domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement product features end-to-end, including writing backend logic, APIs, and connecting APIs to the front end.
• Participate in discussions related to architecture, database schemas, API schemas, and libraries/frameworks to use.
• Work with RESTful APIs, SQL, and NoSQL databases to develop and maintain data-driven applications.
• Collaborate with the team to design and implement database schemas and API schemas.
• Develop and maintain multiple projects across various domains, leveraging AI/ML and Python skills.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in AI/ML and Python development.
• Contribute to the development of a culture that values creativity, self-directed learning, and a 'getting things done' attitude.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Python programming language.
• Experience with at least one backend API framework, preferably FastAPI.
• Knowledge of relational databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of NoSQL databases and their applications.
• Experience with deep learning models and LLMs.
• Strong mathematical and logical reasoning skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with prompt engineering, context management, RAGs, and MCPs.
