You Might Really Grab Our Attention If You Can Communicate with staff or clients to understand specific system requirements. Analyze requirements and develop design concepts or changes. Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information. Verify stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of system architecture. Collaborate with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components. Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems. Identify system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs. Provide guidelines for implementing secure systems to customers or installation teams. Monitor system operation to detect potential problems. Responsibilities le Overview: The Mainframe Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications on IBM Mainframe systems. This role involves working with COBOL, JCL, DB2, and other mainframe technologies to support business-critical systems. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and related tools. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning of mainframe programs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and deployment. Provide production support and resolve issues within SLAs. Required Skills Strong proficiency in COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS. Experience with mainframe utilities and batch processing. Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies Qualifications BE or equivalent
