About the Role

An IQF Operator plays a crucial role in the food processing industry, responsible for operating and maintaining the IQF (Individual Quick Freeze) plant. This involves ensuring the efficient freezing of food products to maintain their quality and freshness. As an IQF Operator, you will be working closely with the production team to ensure smooth operations and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the IQF plant to freeze food products efficiently and effectively.
• Monitor and maintain the plant's equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating moving parts, to prevent wear and tear.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet production targets and ensure quality standards are met.
• Conduct quality checks on frozen products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Record and report any issues or concerns related to plant operations or product quality.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food processing industry.
• Knowledge of IQF plant operations and maintenance.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems and electrical controls.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and record-keeping.
