Software Engineer - Bill of Materials (BOM) Job

About the Role

YASH Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer - Bill of Materials (BOM) to join their team in Bengaluru / Bangalore, Karnataka, India. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will support global generator sets Pricelists and factory support as a configuration engineer/factory support engineer. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring accurate BoMs for all managed pricelists by maintaining EHDs (Engineering Handoff Documents)
• Creating new pricing arrangements and updating existing pricelists to drive accurate material lists on orders
• Providing support for shop issues by investigating, coordinating with L3s, identifying RCCA and providing ICA's
• Refining and improving product designs by investigating and developing solutions to product design problems
• Maintaining good leadership skills in collaboration with Production, DTO teams, Sales Support Teams, Order analyst team and EC&S teams
• Involve in technical discussions to resolve the Price list compatibility issues and closely working with L5 teams to resolve them

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree in accredited Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 0 to 2 years of design experience
• Good communication skills
• Experience with Caterpillar systems (HVC, EDS, Teamcenter) preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills, a good mechanical and/or electrical/electronic aptitude, and good communications skills
