Intern, Forward Deployed Engineering

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join the Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team to support intelligent automation initiatives powered by Workato Agentic AI.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience building AI-powered automation solutions that combine large language models (LLMs), APIs, and enterprise integrations.

• Assist in building AI agents using the Workato Agentic AI platform.
• Support development of intelligent workflows that leverage LLMs for reasoning, summarization, classification, and decision-making.
• Configure integrations between enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow, Slack, etc.) to enable agent-driven automation.
• Help test, validate, and optimize agent workflows for accuracy, performance, and reliability.
• Monitor agent performance and assist in troubleshooting integration or model-related issues.
• Stay updated on advancements in AI, LLMs, and automation technologies.

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Currently pursuing a degree as Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering.
• Basic understanding of APIs, REST, webhooks, and SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with JSON and data mapping concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
