About the Role

As a Java Backend Developer at Wissen Technology, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs. Your primary focus will be on writing clean, efficient, and reusable code using Java and Spring Boot.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, frontend, QA, and DevOps, to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and testable code.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and optimize queries.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system performance and stability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java.
• Good knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Familiarity with Git, unit testing, and debugging.
• Understanding of software design principles and system design basics.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
