About the Role
As an Operations Assistant at Wellcaza School of Health Sciences, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth day-to-day functioning of the organization. This includes handling HR operations, talent acquisition, and finance operations, among other tasks. You will work closely with various teams to ensure that all processes are running efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the coordination of recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and benefits information.
- Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, as well as manage purchase bills and filing.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve operational efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Manage documentation and maintain accurate records of all operations-related activities.
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and performing other tasks as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 0-4 years of experience in HR operations, talent acquisition, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, finance operations, and payroll coordination.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with HR software and systems, such as HRIS and payroll software.
- Certification in HR or a related field is a plus.
