DevOps Engineer

About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer at Vymo, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our software systems, from development to deployment. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, automating tasks, and monitoring system performance.

You will work on designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our applications, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

This role requires a strong understanding of DevOps principles, cloud computing, and containerization technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts using tools like Ansible or Puppet.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve production issues.
• Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies.
• Implement security measures to protect against vulnerabilities and threats.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to design and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles, cloud computing, and containerization technologies.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with automated deployment tools like Ansible or Puppet.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker.
• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance regulations.
