QA engineer

About the Role

In this role as a QA Engineer at Virtusa, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable test automation frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. You will work on automating UI, backend, and API testing for web, service, and microservices, as well as regression, integration, and performance testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber.
• Automate UI, backend, and API testing for web, service, and microservices.
• Perform regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Develop and maintain test cases and test scripts using various testing tools and frameworks.
• Conduct cloud-based testing using AWS and ensure end-to-end automation of complex business workflows.
• Participate in quality engineering, defect management, and test strategy discussions to improve the overall quality of software applications.
