AWS Devops

About the Role

As an AWS DevOps Engineer at Virtusa, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and deployment pipelines for cloud-based applications using AWS services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues, ensure high availability and scalability of applications, and implement best practices for DevOps.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git and tools like Jenkins or CircleCI.
• Deploy and manage applications on Amazon EKS and other AWS services.
• Monitor and troubleshoot deployment pipeline issues using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and rollout of new features.
• Implement security and compliance best practices for AWS services.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features to ensure optimal use.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Good understanding of AWS services, including S3, Glue, EMR, Athena, and Amazon QuickSight.
• Experience with Terraform and Amazon EKS for infrastructure as code and container orchestration.
• Strong version control skills using Git.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or CircleCI.
• Experience with troubleshooting deployment pipeline issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
