Java Developer

About the Role

This Java Developer role involves working with a fast-scaling IT services and digital transformation partner to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications for various sectors, including banking, healthcare, and logistics.

As a member of the team, you will collaborate with product and QA teams to translate business requirements into clean, modular, and testable code, and participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies to ensure engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with product and QA teams to translate business requirements into clean, modular, and testable code.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement CI/CD pipelines for faster deployments.
• Integrate with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL stores (MongoDB, Redis) for scalable data layer design.
• Document technical designs, APIs, and deployment processes to enable seamless onboarding and support.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies to ensure engineering excellence.
