Junior Accounts Executive

About the Role

As a Junior Accounts Executive at VGC Advisors, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the accounting team to identify and implement process improvements, and provide support in financial analysis and reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting records.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including tax laws and accounting standards.
• Provide support in financial analysis and reporting, including preparing financial models and forecasts.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and provide financial insights to support business decisions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with accounting software, such as Tally or SAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
