About the Role

Role Overview We are building our sales engine from the ground up. This role sits at the intersection of marketing and sales and is responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting high-value accounts through structured and experimental outreach. You will not inherit a playbook—you will help build one. Key Responsibilities Account Research & Targeting Build and maintain a list of high-potential target accounts and decision-makers Understand industries, ICPs, and map stakeholders within organizations Outbound Outreach Execute multi-channel outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) Be comfortable picking up the phone and initiating conversations with prospects Drive first-touch engagement and qualify leads Experimentation & Iteration Test messaging, formats, and outreach strategies Continuously refine approaches based on response rates and conversions Operate with a build–measure–learn mindset Value Packaging Work closely with internal teams to package and position our services effectively Customize pitches for different accounts and industries Pipeline Support Schedule meetings and ensure smooth handoff to the sales team Maintain CRM hygiene and track outreach performance What We're Looking For A bias for action —you'd rather try and fail than overthink Strong communication skills (written + verbal) Comfort with ambiguity and zero-process environments Willingness to make cold calls (non-negotiable) Ability to think commercially and understand business problems High ownership mindset—you treat targets like your own business What Will Set You Apart Previous internships in sales, marketing, or business development Experience with LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, or CRM tools Evidence of initiative (side projects, freelancing, building something from scratch) What You'll Gain First-hand experience in building a sales engine from scratch Exposure to real business conversations early in your career Rapid learning curve across sales, marketing, and strategy Opportunity to grow into core sales or account management roles Reality Check (Important) This is not a 9-to-5 comfort role This is not a campaign management job This role involves hustle, rejection, and iteration But if you get it right, you'll learn more here in 6 months than most do in 2 years.
