Full Stack Developer

About the Role

The Full Stack Developer at VAIRAM will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications that power the online diamond jewelry platform.

Responsibilities

• Custom Liquid & Schema Development: Designing and implementing custom sections and blocks using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to ensure the storefront is unique, flexible, and goes beyond standard theme limitations.
• End-to-End Storefront Ownership: Serving as the sole point of contact for all website updates, ensuring that every design change or new feature is deployed accurately without disrupting the live shopping experience.
• Performance & Speed Optimization: Proactively monitoring Core Web Vitals and optimizing image assets, minifying scripts, and managing app payloads to maintain fast load times and high conversion rates.
• App Ecosystem Management: Evaluating, installing, and configuring third-party Shopify apps while writing custom API integrations to ensure various business tools (Inventory, Marketing, ERP) sync perfectly with the store.
• Mobile-First UX Implementation: Ensuring 100% responsiveness across all device types, specifically focusing on mobile usability where the majority of Vairam's customers likely interact with the brand.
• Bug Troubleshooting & Quality Assurance: Rapidly identifying and resolving front-end glitches, broken links, or checkout issues to prevent revenue loss and ensure a professional customer journey.
• End-to-End Task Ownership: Managing the full lifecycle of assigned technical tasks, from initial requirement analysis and logic design to final implementation and bug-free deployment.
• Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive manual tasks or improve internal workflows, directly contributing to the team's overall productivity and speed.
• Proactive System Maintenance: Monitoring daily system health and proactively identifying potential bottlenecks or bugs to ensure zero downtime and a smooth user experience.
