Key Responsibilities: This Reconciliation Analyst role is with a leading global financial technology and investment operations organization, known for delivering data-driven financial solutions and investment accounting services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Establish reconciliation processes & thresholds for assigned clients.

2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for reconciliation workflows.

3. Design automated workflows for efficiency & scalability.

4. Ensure data accuracy by analyzing and validating against third-party sources.

5. Monitor discrepancies, investigate, and resolve breaks between:

i) Safekeeping institutions

ii) Third-party data providers

iii) Order management systems

Skillset Required:

1. Perform investment reconciliation during client onboarding with a focus on automation & scalability.

2. Back-reconcile, normalize, and automate large sets of financial data.

3. Knowledge of investment accounting (financial statements, amortization, interest income, yields, accruals).

4. Understanding of vanilla fixed income & equity investments; gradually build knowledge of other securities.

5. Exposure to data validation & discrepancy resolution with custodians, third-party data vendors, and order management systems.
