About the Role
As a Junior US Tax Analyst at TrueLedger Consulting, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and review of US tax returns, conducting research on US tax laws and regulations, and providing support to clients on various tax-related matters. This role involves working closely with senior analysts to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax projects. You will also be involved in maintaining knowledge of US tax laws, regulations, and IRS guidance to provide expert advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of US tax returns, including individual and corporate tax returns.
- Conduct research on US tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance with IRS guidelines.
- Provide support to clients on various tax-related matters, including tax planning and consulting.
- Maintain knowledge of US tax laws, regulations, and IRS guidance to provide expert advice to clients.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized support.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in US tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to clients.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of US tax laws, regulations, and IRS guidance.
- Proficiency in tax software, including tax preparation and research tools.
- Excellent research and analytical skills to conduct in-depth research on US tax laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and senior analysts.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0-4 years of experience in tax preparation and research, preferably in a consulting or accounting firm.
- Knowledge of US entity structures, including C-Corp and S-Corp.
