CA Trainee - GST

About the Role

As a CA Trainee - GST at Trent Limited, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and submission of Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns, conducting GST audits, and ensuring compliance with GST laws and regulations. You will work closely with the finance team to maintain accurate records and ensure timely payments. Your role will involve staying up-to-date with changes in GST laws and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and submission of GST returns, including GSTR-3B and GSTR-1.
• Conduct GST audits and ensure compliance with GST laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of GST-related transactions and ensure timely payments.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in GST laws and procedures and implement them in the organization.
• Assist in the implementation of GST-related processes and procedures in the organization.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain relationships with GST authorities and other stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
• Experience in indirect taxation, including GST.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP, particularly in GST-related modules.
• Strong understanding of GST laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
