About the Role
The Sponsorship Sales Executive is a dynamic role that involves identifying and approaching potential sponsors for Tradepass conferences, exhibitions, and events. This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers, researching target markets, and developing tailored sponsorship proposals.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting sales calls and meetings, negotiating commercial terms, and closing sponsorship deals. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and event teams to align sponsorship packages with event objectives, maintaining accurate sales pipelines and reports, and meeting or exceeding individual and team revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential sponsors for Tradepass conferences, exhibitions, and events.
- Research target markets and develop tailored sponsorship proposals.
- Conduct sales calls and meetings with key decision-makers.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close sponsorship deals.
- Collaborate with marketing and event teams to align sponsorship packages with event objectives.
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines and reports.
- Meet or exceed individual and team revenue targets.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in sponsorship sales, B2B sales, or business development.
- Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, and relationship-building with corporate clients and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to create and present compelling sponsorship proposals.
- Solid negotiation and closing skills.
- Comfort with sales CRM tools, pipeline management, and basic data analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications are an advantage.
- Knowledge of technology, digital transformation, or related domains is beneficial.
- Experience in international markets is a plus.
