Data Analyst

About the Role

As a Data Analyst at TMF Group, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to inform business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, create data visualizations, and develop insights that drive business growth.

Day-to-day, you will spend most of your time working with data tools such as SQL, MS Excel, and Power BI to extract insights from large datasets. You will also be expected to communicate your findings effectively to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and data visualizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends and patterns.
• Develop and maintain databases, data models, and data visualizations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collaborate with data scientists and other analysts to develop and implement data-driven projects.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.
• Develop and maintain data quality and integrity processes to ensure accurate and reliable data.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of data analysis concepts and techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL, MS Excel, and Power BI.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or D3.js.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Experience with Python programming language is a plus.
