About the Role
As an Analyst – Data Engineering at TIAA, you will be responsible for driving optimized solutions within known constraints, working closely with project managers to deliver results. Your expertise in cloud storage services, ETL/ELT workflows, and data warehousing solutions will be crucial in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with project managers to drive optimized solutions within known constraints.
- Develop in-depth understanding of cloud storage services such as EBS, Amazon S3, EFS, etc.
- Integrate cloud applications and require knowledge of APIs, pre-scripting, post-scripting, and integration testing.
- Build ETL/ELT workflows and optimize data warehousing solutions.
- Leverage cloud storage services (S3, Snowflake stages) to enhance data management.
- Collaborate with project managers to deliver optimized solutions within constraints.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and cloud computing.
Skills & Qualifications
- Good knowledge of AWS, Snowflake, Python, and SQL.
- Glue experience and understanding of cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- University degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, engineering).
- No prior work experience required, but a strong foundation in data engineering and cloud computing is essential.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and data cloud is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT workflows and data warehousing solutions.
- Experience with cloud storage services (S3, Snowflake stages).
