Business Development Intern

If you want exposure to sales, founder thinking, growth strategy, business development, and startup execution , this role gives you direct access. What You'll Actually Do As a Business Development Intern , you'll work closely with the founding/growth team to drive business expansion. This is not a make PPTs and sit in meetings internship. Opportunity Research Identify high-potential brands, businesses, and growth opportunities Research target markets, customer segments, and decision-makers Track emerging trends in e-commerce, digital marketing, AI commerce, and startup growth Lead Generation & Outreach Build prospect pipelines through research and outbound prospecting Reach out via LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, calls, and other creative channels Qualify leads and schedule discovery conversations Support partnership and client acquisition initiatives Founder's Office Exposure Analyze competitors, positioning, and market opportunities Contribute ideas for new growth experiments and GTM initiatives Assist in validating offers, partnerships, and strategic opportunities Learn how early-stage startup decisions are made Client & Relationship Management Support conversations with prospects and clients Assist with follow-ups, proposals, and pipeline progression Help maintain strong client communication and business relationships Who Should Apply This role is ideal for someone who: Wants real startup exposure instead of a passive internship Is confident communicating with people and initiating conversations Thinks commercially, not just academically Is proactive, resourceful, and execution-driven Learns fast and takes ownership Is curious about startups, growth, AI, e-commerce, or digital business Preferred Qualifications Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree Prior experience in sales, business development, outreach, or marketing is a plus Familiarity with LinkedIn prospecting, spreadsheets, CRM tools, or outreach workflows Strong written and spoken communication in English and Hindi Interest in digital marketing, D2C, SaaS, e-commerce, or technology What You'll Gain Direct exposure to startup growth from the inside Opportunity to work closely with founders and core growth teams Practical learning in lead generation, business development, sales psychology, outreach, negotiation, and strategy Exposure to fast-growing industries including AI, digital marketing, e-commerce, and immersive commerce A significantly steeper learning curve than conventional internships Potential full-time opportunity for top performers Location Gomti Nagar Vistar, Lucknow (In-office 3 days a week)
