Application Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an Application Engineer to join our team at The Sanmar Group in India.

Responsibilities

• Preparing technical and commercial quotes in line with customer requirements.
• Converting customer orders into clear plant orders.
• Ensuring timely submission of techno-commercial quotes to end customers.
• Interacting with customers on order status and project progress.
• Providing technical and commercial support to branches and other end customers.
• Preparing competitive and accurate technical and commercial quotes.
• Converting customer orders to plant orders quickly.
• Providing timely technical clarifications on queries.
• Participating in technical discussions with customers and closing TBA/TBE.
• Tracking and following up on customer inquiries and orders.
• Submitting offers on time as per customer requirements.
• Understanding all relevant codes and standards for pressure/safety relief valves.
• Preparing reports on quotes/orders/post-order changes as per management requirements.
• Providing technical inputs to support branches.
• Handling projects from enquiry to order execution without bottlenecks.
