Software Engineer

About the Role

This Software Engineer role at Tata Consultancy Services involves working with ServiceNow, a leading IT service management platform. As a ServiceNow developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing various modules, including ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, and HRSD. Your primary focus will be on automating business processes and ensuring seamless integration with other systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, and HRSD, to automate business processes and improve efficiency.
• Develop client scripts, UI policies, business rules, UI actions, import sets, transform maps, notifications, and script includes to enhance ServiceNow functionality.
• Work with Agile methodology to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Develop integrations with SOAP or REST APIs to connect ServiceNow with other systems.
• Perform root cause analysis to resolve production support issues.
• Develop and maintain workflows using flow designer or workflows to automate business processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of ServiceNow solutions.

Skills & Qualifications

• ServiceNow developer with hands-on experience in designing and developing various modules.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodology and its application in software development.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages, such as JavaScript or Python.
• Good understanding of integrations, including SOAP and REST APIs.
• Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant certifications, such as ServiceNow Developer or ITIL Foundation.
