Oracle APEX Developer & VBCS

About the Role

As an Oracle APEX Developer & VBCS at Tata Consultancy Services, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Fusion SaaS extensions and custom applications that complement Oracle Cloud solutions. This role requires adherence to Oracle-recommended extension guidelines and involves working with cloud infrastructure, data modelling, and software troubleshooting. Your primary focus will be on developing innovative solutions that enhance the user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement custom applications using Oracle APEX and VBCS, ensuring seamless integration with Oracle Cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop technical specifications, and implement solutions that meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to Oracle's coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, working closely with the development team to identify and fix defects.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle APEX and VBCS features, and apply this knowledge to improve existing applications and develop new ones.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation, ensuring that all stakeholders have access to accurate and up-to-date information.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Oracle APEX and VBCS, including their features, limitations, and best practices.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, including deployment, management, and security.
• Proficiency in data modelling, including data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent software troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Expert (OCE).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
