About the Role
The Field Sales Executive is a crucial role at SuryaGrid Energy, responsible for driving sales growth and expanding the company's presence in Raipur and surrounding areas. This role involves meeting customers, understanding their energy needs, and presenting suitable solar solutions and pricing. The position requires strong field sales and business development skills, including lead generation, cold visiting, and relationship building.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and manage solar installation leads in and around Raipur through direct visits, local networking, and follow-ups.
- Meet prospective residential, commercial, and industrial customers to understand their energy needs and present suitable solar solutions and pricing.
- Prepare and explain proposals, coordinate site visits with the technical team, and support customers through the sales cycle from initial inquiry to closing.
- Maintain accurate records of leads and sales activities, report market feedback, and collaborate closely with operations and customer support to ensure a smooth installation experience.
- Represent SuryaGrid Energy professionally at local events, community meetings, and partner channels to build brand visibility.
- Travel locally within Raipur and nearby areas to meet customers and promote SuryaGrid Energy's solar solutions.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong field sales and business development skills, including lead generation, cold visiting, and relationship building.
- Ability to understand basic solar solutions, explain technical concepts simply, and align offerings with customer requirements.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a customer-focused and consultative approach.
- Comfort with basic documentation, proposal preparation, and use of smartphones or laptops for reporting and CRM tools.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a graduate degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to travel locally within Raipur and nearby areas, with a two-wheeler or other reliable means of transport.
