Specialist, Product Control GBS

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions across various financial market products. You will work closely with the trade support team to validate and verify trade data, and provide support to the trade finance team in resolving any discrepancies or issues.

This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher to gain hands-on experience in product control and develop a strong understanding of financial market products and their associated risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Validate and verify trade data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Provide support to the trade finance team in resolving any discrepancies or issues
• Collaborate with the trade support team to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial transactions
• Develop and maintain knowledge of financial market products and their associated risks
• Identify and escalate any potential risks or issues to the relevant stakeholders
• Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Strong understanding of financial market products and their associated risks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Familiarity with financial software and systems, such as SAP or Oracle
