About the Role

As a Collections Executive at STAHR LLP, you will be responsible for managing and resolving customer accounts to ensure timely payments. This involves effective communication with clients, negotiation of payment plans, and maintaining accurate records. You will work closely with the sales and credit teams to identify and address any issues that may impact collections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely payments and minimize bad debt.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to resolve customer disputes and negotiate payment plans.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in-person to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and upsell/cross-sell products to customers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, including phone calls, emails, and meetings.
  • Identify and report any issues or trends that may impact collections, such as changes in customer behavior or market conditions.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly collection targets, as set by management.

  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on resolving customer complaints and issues.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and productive team culture.
