Accountant Cum Cashier

About the Role

As an Accountant Cum Cashier at Sri Ambika Creations, you will be responsible for managing the company's financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with GST regulations. Your day-to-day tasks will involve handling cash transactions, processing payments, and reconciling accounts. You will also be required to maintain the company's accounting software, Tally ERP, and perform data entry tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cash transactions, including handling cash receipts, making payments, and maintaining a cash log.
• Process payments, including cheques, credit card transactions, and online payments.
• Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, credit card statements, and petty cash.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including journals, ledgers, and trial balances.
• Ensure compliance with GST regulations, including filing returns and paying taxes on time.
• Perform data entry tasks, including entering transactions into the accounting software.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Skills & Qualifications

• Tally ERP: Proficient in using Tally ERP for accounting and financial management.
• Accounting: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Cash management: Ability to manage cash transactions, including handling cash receipts and making payments.
• Gofrugal: Familiarity with Gofrugal software for managing business operations.
• GST knowledge: Understanding of GST regulations and compliance requirements.
• Degree: Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field.
• Certifications: CA, ICWA, or CMA certifications are preferred.
