Finance Intern - Remote

About the Role

As a Finance Intern at Sprinto, you’ll dive into the day‑to‑day pulse of a fast‑growing SaaS compliance platform. Your primary focus will be on the accounts payable and receivable lifecycles, ensuring that vendor invoices are processed accurately and customer payments are collected on time. You’ll also support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, giving you a front‑row seat to how financial decisions drive product growth and compliance success.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile vendor invoices using Zoho Books and QuickBooks, ensuring 100% accuracy and timely payments.
• Generate and send customer invoices, track collections, and reconcile accounts receivable to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Assist in monthly budgeting and quarterly forecasting, preparing variance reports that highlight cost drivers and revenue opportunities.
• Compile audit documentation, coordinate with external auditors, and follow up on audit findings to support continuous compliance.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc financial analysis for strategic initiatives, such as evaluating new market entries or pricing adjustments.
• Support tax due diligence activities, gathering necessary financial data and preparing reports for compliance teams.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—product, sales, and legal—to align financial data with business objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
• Familiarity with accounting software: Zoho Books, QuickBooks, and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• Basic understanding of GAAP/Indian accounting standards and compliance frameworks like ISO, SOC 2, and GDPR.
• Experience or coursework in accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and cash‑flow management.
• Strong analytical skills: ability to build variance reports and interpret financial statements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting findings to non‑financial stakeholders.
• ACCA certification in progress is a plus but not mandatory.

What You’ll Learn
