Article Trainee/Associate

About the Role

As an Article Trainee/Associate at SPARK & Associates Chartered Accountants LLP, you will be responsible for assisting senior accountants in preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and providing tax advisory services. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and provide solutions to their accounting and taxation problems. Your day-to-day tasks will involve data entry, financial analysis, and communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior accountants in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct audits and reviews of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Provide tax advisory services to clients, including tax planning and compliance.
• Assist in data entry and maintenance of financial records using accounting software such as Tally ERP and QuickBooks.
• Communicate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide solutions to their accounting and taxation problems.
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to clients on financial planning and management.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other financial documents.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP and QuickBooks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with taxation laws and regulations.
• Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent client service.
