About the Role

As a FinOps Associate at S&P Global, you will be responsible for providing operational support to various business verticals, including Tax, Regulatory, Trade, and KYC. Your day-to-day tasks will involve data analysis, reporting, and process improvement using tools like MS Excel, SQL, and Power Query. Proficiency in Python is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational support to various business verticals, including Tax, Regulatory, Trade, and KYC.
• Collect, analyze, and report data using MS Excel, SQL, and Power Query.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to support business decisions.
• Identify process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve overall performance.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes that impact business operations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Excel, including data analysis, charting, and pivot tables.
• Strong SQL skills, including data querying, indexing, and optimization.
• Experience with Power Query, including data manipulation, transformation, and loading.
• Basic knowledge of Python programming language, including data analysis and visualization.
• 0-1 years of experience in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or operations.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
