About the Role

S&P Global is hiring candidates for the role of Data Analyst for the Hyderabad, India locations.

Responsibilities

• Functional Responsibility / Domain Related
• Basic Financial data gathering, data enrichment and data maintenance through client or in-house databases
• Extract required data set from input / source document into required output template
• Use tools and systems to ensure timely delivery
• Upload / remove reports as required on client or in-house databases
• Maintain the integrity and quality of data
• Execute assigned tasks as per the instructions / guidelines and meeting required TAT
• Ensure adherence to / compliance with performance tracking mechanism, policies / procedures of the organization
• Explore opportunities and provide ideas to improve the current processes

What You'll Need

• Strong finance or accounting specialization
• Effective communication skills (written & Verbal) and sound computer skills are the prerequisites for the positions
• The candidate should be willing to work rotational night shifts. Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment, while following flexible schedules to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and persistent approach to work
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and interpretive skills
• Commerce Graduate
• Streams Eligible – Any Stream with Finance as Major or Minor subject
• Computer literacy – MS Office applications, Macros will be an added advantage
• A Positive attitude, strong interest in research, flair for writing and an eye for detail
• Ability to interact with many levels and to face and deal with issues in a mature and professional manner
