Role: AWS Connect + Java Engineer Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week) Contract Duration: 12 months+ Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri) Timezone : IST with overlap to US teams (2 hours of overlap. End of consultant's day overlaps with start of US day EST.) Location: 100% Remote We are seeking experienced AWS Connect Engineers to support a large-scale contact center transformation initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Amazon Connect, Java-based backend services, AWS Lambda, and enterprise integrations within scalable cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Develop and support Amazon Connect integrations with backend systems Build Java-based microservices and REST APIs Design and optimize AWS Lambda functions for scalable workloads Support backend orchestration and workflow integrations Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance Collaborate with distributed engineering teams on cloud-native solutions Requirements Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Connect and Contact Flows Strong Java development experience Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architectures Experience building REST APIs and microservices Experience integrating enterprise backend systems Strong debugging and performance optimization skills Preferred Enterprise-scale environment experience Multi-region AWS deployment exposure High availability/resiliency experience
