About the Role

Siemens is hiring candidates for the role of Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) Associate for the Bangalore, Karnataka, India locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining document processing workflows using OCR technologies.
• Work with tools like Otera AI and ABBYY FlexiCapture to configure document classification and data extraction.
• Use JavaScript and Python for scripting, customization, and automation of document processing logic.
• Validate extracted data and ensure high accuracy and quality standards.
• Perform data review, correction, and exception handling for processed documents.
• Collaborate with team members to improve automation efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
• Support testing, debugging, and optimization of IDP solutions.
• Maintain proper documentation of workflows, configurations, and processes.
• Stay updated with new features and best practices in OCR, Python, JavaScript.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience (freshers with strong interest in automation are encouraged to apply).
• Basic understanding of OCR, document processing, or data extraction concepts.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Python (mandatory).
• Familiarity with tools like ABBYY FlexiCapture or similar OCR platforms is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Basic knowledge of Excel and data handling.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
