Junior Accountant

About the Role

As a Junior Accountant at Shivam Engineering Construction, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing and reviewing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and tax laws.

On a daily basis, you will perform tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and analysis of financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and financial projections.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax laws.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Assist in the analysis of financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• Knowledge of financial transactions, financial statements, and accounting principles.
• Experience with financial software and tools, such as QuickBooks or Tally.
• Familiarity with GAAP and tax laws.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines.
