About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer at Scoutit, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between development and operations teams by ensuring the smooth deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of software systems. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and improve the efficiency of our software development lifecycle.

You will work on automating processes, implementing continuous integration and delivery pipelines, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated deployment scripts using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application performance issues using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic.
  • Implement containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for DevOps processes and tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in DevOps and contribute to the development of new processes and tools.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in DevOps or related field.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
