DevOps Engineer

About the Role

As a DevOps Engineer at Scoutit, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between software development and operations teams by ensuring the smooth operation of our software systems. This involves designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure, as well as automating deployment and testing processes.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

Day-to-day, you will be working on tasks such as monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with developers to ensure that new features are properly integrated into our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions using cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts using tools like Ansible or Terraform.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that new features are properly integrated into our systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high uptime and availability.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that increase efficiency and reduce downtime.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Ruby.
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
