DevOps Engineer

About the Role

A DevOps Engineer at Scoutit will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our software development lifecycle, from building to deployment. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement automation, monitoring, and feedback mechanisms that improve our overall efficiency and quality.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work on designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure, as well as ensuring that our software meets the required standards and is delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation scripts to streamline our deployment and testing processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure that our software is deployable, scalable, and maintainable.
• Develop and maintain our monitoring and logging infrastructure to ensure that we can quickly identify and resolve issues.
• Work with our operations team to ensure that our infrastructure is secure, reliable, and efficient.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate our build, test, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with our quality assurance team to ensure that our software meets the required standards.
• Develop and maintain our documentation to ensure that our processes and procedures are well-documented and easily accessible.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Git.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Certifications in DevOps, cloud computing, or related fields are a plus.
