Python Engineer

About the Role

This Python Engineer role involves writing clean, readable, and testable code, designing scalable systems, and breaking down complex problems into smaller, manageable parts. You'll work closely with developers, UX designers, business analysts, and system analysts to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, readable, and testable Python code that adheres to industry best practices.
• Design and implement scalable systems that can handle high traffic and large datasets.
• Break down complex problems into smaller, manageable parts and develop solutions that meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, UX designers, business analysts, and system analysts, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in daily activities, such as stand-ups, iteration planning, and retrospectives, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Develop and maintain database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Implement user authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth, SAML, and OpenID.

Skills & Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Python programming language.
• Good knowledge of web frameworks, such as Django, Flask, and Tornado.
• Understanding of concurrency and parallelism limitations in Python and workarounds for them.
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, including React, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization implementation.
• Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python.
• Strong understanding of REST, gRPC, and GraphQL concepts.
• Proficient understanding of Git and GitHub workflows.
• Proficient in Docker usage.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD workflows.
• Cloud deployment basics, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
