InfraOps Engineer

About the Role

As an InfraOps Engineer at Scalereal Technologies Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS. This role involves hands-on experience with Linux administration, networking, and containerization, ensuring seamless deployment and operation of applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS using best practices and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Manage and maintain Linux-based server environments across multiple environments, ensuring high uptime and performance.
• Configure and optimize network components, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and routing tables, to ensure secure and efficient communication.
• Implement and maintain reverse proxies such as Nginx and Caddy for load balancing and service routing.
• Build and manage Docker containers and container orchestration solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Create automation scripts to reduce manual interventions and improve operational efficiency.
• Perform Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) tasks, including monitoring cloud resources for performance, availability, and cost optimization.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Linux administration experience with deep system-level understanding.
• Advanced networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, routing, load balancing, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated experience configuring and maintaining Nginx or Caddy reverse proxies in production.
• Solid Docker experience, including container creation, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with AWS core services, including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, RDS, and Serverless.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools in cloud environments.
• Shell scripting skills and familiarity with at least one programming language (TypeScript preferred).
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud and network infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
