About the Role
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer is a crucial role within Sansera Engineering Limited, responsible for ensuring the continuous and reliable operation of electrical systems and equipment in the forging plant. This involves a mix of preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime and support production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, automation, and maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including utilities, automation systems, and induction heating systems.
- Conduct breakdown maintenance on forging presses, induction heating systems, and other equipment to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and extend lifespan.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and address electrical system-related issues that impact production targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor and analyze electrical system performance data to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in electrical maintenance and automation.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, automation, and maintenance practices.
- Experience with breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Familiarity with induction heating systems, forging presses, and other equipment used in the forging plant.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot electrical system issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with production teams and other stakeholders.
