Textile & Brand Designer Home Textiles

About the Role

Rustique Linens seeks a talented Textile & Brand Designer to contribute to the growth of their home textile and lifestyle brand. This role combines textile design and brand building, making it ideal for a design graduate who wants to help build a premium home and lifestyle brand from the ground up.

The successful candidate will work on textile design, surface patterns, embroidery concepts, print and weave ideas, product sampling, brand visuals, marketplace creatives, website assets, product mockups, and creative presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create original prints, embroidery motifs, surface patterns, borders, trims, textures, and weave concepts for home textiles.
• Build seasonal design stories, color palettes, and collection moodboards for Rustique Linens.
• Create coordinated design concepts across home textile collections.
• Prepare design sheets, repeats, placement references, colorways, and sample instructions.
• Work with sampling, stitching, embroidery, printing, and weaving teams to convert designs into physical samples.
• Review samples and suggest corrections for color, scale, placement, construction, and finishing.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong sense of color, pattern, layout, and premium visual aesthetics.
• Good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Canva, InDesign, Procreate, photography, video editing, or AI image tools will be a strong plus.
• NIFT Textile Design, Fashion Communication, or related design background preferred.
• Degree in Textile Design, Fashion Communication, or related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Basic knowledge of video editing and photography software.

What You'll Learn

You will also learn about global trends in home textiles, table styling, kitchen textiles, bedding, interiors, color, surface design, prints, embroidery, and lifestyle brands.

Additionally, you will develop skills in creating brand assets, product infographics, comparison charts, size guides, care guides, feature graphics, and other visual assets for online selling.
