Associate- Record To Report (RTR)- Global Financial Services (Mumbai)

About the Role

As an Associate- Record To Report (RTR) in Global Financial Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial data across various systems and stakeholders. Your day-to-day tasks will involve managing financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting, with a focus on maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Working in a dynamic team environment, you will collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement process improvements, leveraging automation tools and ERP systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage financial transactions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Prepare and review financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial information, including fixed assets, prepayment, and payroll accounting.
• Implement and maintain controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including management, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging automation tools and ERP systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Participate in month-end close activities, including account analysis, journal entries, and reconciliations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial reporting, fixed assets, prepayment, payroll accounting, and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, with experience in data analysis and visualization.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, including data management and reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or related field.
• Relevant certifications, such as CA or CMA, are a plus.
