About the Role
As a Remote Technical Support Specialist for Device Management, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to customers and resolving device-related issues remotely. This role involves troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical problems with various mobile platforms, including macOS, Windows, and mobile operating systems. You will also be involved in inventory management, ensuring that devices are properly configured and compliant with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or chat, resolving device-related issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot and debug technical problems with mobile devices, including macOS, Windows, and mobile operating systems.
- Manage inventory of devices, ensuring that they are properly configured and compliant with company policies.
- Implement and maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions to ensure secure and efficient device management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve overall customer experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in device management, ensuring that you are equipped to provide the best possible support to customers.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation to improve knowledge sharing and reduce support queries.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in device management, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions and inventory management.
- Knowledge of macOS, Windows, and mobile operating systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in device management, troubleshooting, or customer service.
- Proficiency in tools such as encryption, compliance, and debugging.
