Openshift / Kubernetes Engineer

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing containerized applications on OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms. This involves ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of applications deployed on these platforms.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, and contribute to the development of best practices for containerized application deployment and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage containerized applications on OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of applications deployed on these platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
• Contribute to the development of best practices for containerized application deployment and management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance issues on OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in containerized application deployment and management.
• Develop and maintain documentation for OpenShift and Kubernetes platform configurations and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience with containerized application deployment and management.
• Knowledge of GCP services and APIs.
• Proficiency in Linux and TCPIP protocols.
• Experience with CICD tools such as ArgoCD.
• Knowledge of service mesh platforms such as Istio and Linkerd.
• UNIX CLI skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in software development or related field.
