About the Role

As a Backend Engineer, Data Centers, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our data centers. This involves working with various technologies to ensure seamless data processing, storage, and retrieval. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement performance optimizations, ensuring our data centers operate at maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure backend systems for data centers using Go, Python, and other relevant technologies.
  • Implement data pipelines and querying mechanisms to ensure accurate and timely data retrieval.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to implement CICD workflows, ensuring smooth deployment and monitoring of backend systems.
  • Work on performance optimization and backwards compatibility to ensure our data centers can handle increasing workloads.
  • Implement feature versioning to enable seamless deployment of new features and updates.
  • Collaborate with the data science team to integrate data querying and processing into our backend systems.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Go, Python, and Kafka.
  • Experience with performance optimization and backwards compatibility.
  • Knowledge of CICD workflows and data pipelines.
  • Understanding of data querying and processing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 0-4 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
