About the Role
As a Research Assistant I, you will be responsible for assisting in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to support research projects. This role involves working closely with senior researchers to design and implement research studies, collect and analyze data, and prepare reports and presentations.
You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including systematic literature reviews, econometric analysis, and data visualization. Your tasks may include data cleaning and preprocessing, statistical modeling, and writing research reports and articles.
This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills, and are able to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and implementation of research studies, including developing research questions, objectives, and methodologies.
- Collect and analyze data using various tools and software, such as SPSS, R, and Stata.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior researchers and stakeholders, including data visualizations and statistical analysis.
- Conduct systematic literature reviews to identify relevant studies and synthesize findings.
- Develop and maintain databases and spreadsheets to track data and research progress.
- Collaborate with senior researchers to develop research proposals and grant applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research methods and tools, and apply this knowledge to improve research processes and outcomes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as economics, statistics, or social sciences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data using various tools and software.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and presentations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data analysis software, such as SPSS, R, and Stata.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in all work products.
